RC Boys Fall Camps
These are the same as our Pre-Tryout Clinics

Camp #1 Saturday Aug 24, 9a-11a
Camp #2 Saturday Aug 31, 9a-11a
Camp #3 Saturday Sept 7, 9a-11a
Camp #4 Saturday Sept 14, 9a-11a
Camp #5 Saturday Sept 21, 9a-11a
Participants may attend 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 camps. You do not have to attend all, but it is beneficial for both learning and growth of your game and getting to know the coaches of our staff.
Cost: 1 camp = $30, 2 camps =$55, 3 camps = $75, 4 camps = $100, 5 camps = $120. When registering you will be able to select the dates and the number of camps to reflect the price.
This is the best chance to get to know the coaches and the River City training style. Parents, please feel free to ask questions. Our goal is to grow the game of volleyball for the boys. If you are a male athlete in grades 5-12 interested in playing competitive volleyball, we have a place for you!
RC Boys Fall Series
Fall Series is a great way to work on skills where coaches can build from week to week. This series will run for 3 weeks in a row on Wednesday evenings (Sept 11, 18, 25). Age groups will be divided to provide coaches the ability to work on the skills needed that are specific to the age groups at the time.
All 5-12th grade teams are now 7-8:30.
We only thought we had one court to work with and we now have two. We can have two courts at different heights.
Tryout Registration
Boy's tryouts for all ages has been moved to Monday Oct 7 from 6-9pm. All boys teams will tryout at the same time. If you attend any of the Fall Camps, you will still need to register for tryouts.
Players will be offered positions in the club at the end of tryouts. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your accepting the offer to play.
Please register for your current age group. EXAMPLE: If you are 16s and want to tryout for the 17-18 team you can, but please register in the 16 age group. We need everyone to register in THEIR correct age group.

Boys who are 17 or 18 will play in the 18s division
Boys who are 15 or 16 will play in the 16s division
Boys who are 13 or 14 will play in the 14s division
Boys who are 11 or 12 will play in the 12s division
Any boy may play up a division if their skill level is at the level of the other players at that age.
The age group you tryout for regardless of level:
Only select one age group to tryout for. You may play up an age. If you are playing "up", and are not selected on a team in the age level you preferred, you may opt to play in your real age group. Coaches will speak with you about this at tryouts.
The following is usually the grade and corresponding age group:
18u = 12th grade
17u = 11th grade
16u = 10th grade
15u = 9th grade
14u = 8th grade
13u = 7th grade
*12u = 6th grade
*11u = 5th grade
*10u = 4th grade (*all three of these grades would tryout for a 12u team)

18 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
17 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
16 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
15 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
14 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
13 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
12 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
11 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
10 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014
9 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2015
