We have added more staff to this years beach club program. Beach Director and Staff
River City Jrs Club Season Details:
Club Dues: $525 (include the following)
Uniform package: Two tank tops, One pair of spandex, Sun Shirt, Sand socks, baseball hat or visor
Practices: Two practices per week starting week of June 2nd-July 30th (no practices week of July 4th) Practices will be on Mon and Wed mornings from 8:00-10am.
Tournaments: Five tournaments (these are paid separately by the individual). Selection of what tournaments to attend is TBD.
Tryouts: Tryout fee is $20 and includes a tryout shirt.
Tryouts will be held on April 5th and 6th at TVA (weather will not affect tryouts this way).
12U-14U April 5th 12-2pm
15U-18U April 6th 2-4pm

Tryout selection factors: Overall athleticism, Ball Control, Communication skills, Teamwork and individual effort
Trying out with a Partner: It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you and your partner come as a pair ready to tryout. We will take individuals that do not have a partner, but you run the risk of you and your picked partner not working together as a cohesive unit.
Projected # of pairs we will select per age group for 2024:
12u - up to 4 doubles teams
14u - up to 8 doubles teams
16u - up to 8 double teams
18u - up to 4 doubles teams
These numbers can fluctuate from age group to age group. We are prepared to take up to 24 doubles teams in the club this year.
Beach Clinic
This clinic will be focusing on all aspects of beach play. Fundamentals will be covered first, followed by how you will move and transition with a partner. It will be followed with competitive play to work on the skills and drills performed earlier in the clinic.
Players will be placed in groups according to skill level, not necessarily by grade level. It is preferred you come with a partner. We can match you in the clinic with a partner, but this is not always the best scenario as each partner may have slightly different skill levels, work ethic, teammate leadership skills, and communication differences. So, please register using your prater's name in the "teammate" section.
5th-12th grade will be 10:00-12:00pm
